You will receive all items that are pictured. This is the real thing, and would be perfect for your clone (or original) rifle. The stock you will receive will be in similar (or better) condition than the one pictured. Stock will be cleaned and ready to use.If you have any preferences, just make a not in your order and we will do the best we can to accommodate your request. There may or may not be tiny hairline cracks that will be repaired or filled in. Stock may or may not have left over paint, stickers and/or tape from service. You might even browse Equipment exchange, i have seen some pretty nice complete original A1 uppers for sale at decent prices lately. But if you have no issue refinishing you could easily have a rifle with mostly original parts for around the same price as a Brownells rifle. The problem is all the kits nowadays are pretty rough. Parts kit prices are actually starting to come down quite a bit, there were even sub $300 dollar kits being sold on black friday. I have spent way more money making non authentic rifles more authentic than i would have spent just doing it right in the first place, but i am also a little more nuts when it comes to using original parts on Retro AR's than the majority of people.

If authenticity is something that will bother you, even a little bit, i would recommend building. As I also like Milsurp firearms that's sort of important to me. They lack the authenticity of the parts kits though.
